la instalacion de sql2000 server es igual al instalarlo en xp.. solo al inicio aparece un error de incompatibilidad pero se da click en continuar y listo. Se debe poner autenticacion de windows si va a ser como servidor agregar el usuario invitado en administrador de sql y darle los privilegios de dueño (own) a las bases que se desea ingresar..
Estoy hablando de windows 7 starter y ultimate.. xq en home premium tampoco he podido instalar..

man tengo un problema al istalar sql server se istala pero en la ultima parte me diso que ve un archivo llamado errorlog.dll que puedo hacer por que tengo win 7 me ando al principio pero paso que 20:00 minutos y me salio en plenno servicio OBDC erro y luego se me reinisio el sistema y cuando trate de arrancar el SQL medava desconectado y dea hay lo trate de reinstalar y nada que puedo hacer estoy harto >:-O manda un mensaje ami email: kable_11_06@hotmail.com o un mensaje ami cel

Bueno para todas las personas que quieran instalar el SQL Server 2000 en Windows 7 (Ultimate x64 es el mio) tienen que ir a la carpeta:
” C:\SQLEVAL\x86\setup ” y buscan el archivo setupsql.exe
Cuando hagan click les va a aparecer una ventana y seleccionan la opcion “Ejecutar programa” todaslas veces que sea necesario.

HE INSTALADO DE TODAS LAS FORMAS EL SQL SERVER 2000 EN MI PC CON WINDOWS 7 PERO SE EJECUTA NORMAL EL PROGRAMA TODO PERO AL MOMENTO DE CREAR UNA TABLA SALE UN ERROR DEL MMC A ENCONTRADO UN ERROR EN EL COMPONENTE. CON TRES OPCIONES Y SE CUELGA EL SQL.

Señores, cabe recalcar, que nadie, y cuando digo nadie, es absolutamente nadie ha especificado que version de SQL 2000 Server es la que les funco en Windows 7, y algunos mencionan si es windows 7 Ultimate o Home o las demas versiones de Windows 7 existentes. Disculpandome si es qe estoy equivocado, espero respuestas ante tanta incognita surgida por la instalación del SQL 2000 Server, puesto que la gran mayoria que desea instalarlo sobre Windows 7 son usuarios que desean crear un servidor de un juego llamado Mu. Gracias por su atencion.
